PARQUET ACCESSORIES
The right accessories make the floor even more valuable and help maintaining it without spending much energy. Alma offers a series of coordinated products to make every space perfect from all points of view. Parquet accessories such as skirting boards, ideal for stair lining; maintenance products, suitable for every need and perfect for optimal floor protection.
Stair skirt
The stair skirt is made with parquet boards, to ensure the same aesthetic of the floor and is assembled with tongue and groove joint to ensure resistance and quality. Choosing to line the staircase allows to give continuity of color with the laid floor and the rooms.

Maintenance products
Dirt is the main cause of wear of wooden floors, for this reason an adequate and periodic cleaning of the surface is necessary. Wood is a natural material and has to be treated as such. Strong changes in temperature or excessive humidity can lead to small changes in the structure: dilatations in humid climates or risk of slight cracks in a dry and very dry space.
VERNICICATO Finish: Treatment carried out with the use of UV varnish, which makes the surface particularly resistant and easy to maintain. The varnish finish creates a protective film on the wood that lasts over time. We recommend a daily cleaning with vacuum cleaner or dry cloth, plus the use of Alma Clean every 2/4 weeks or whenever the floor needs to be washed. When the floor looks worn and dull, use Alma Lux (every 6/4 months).
OLIATO Finish: The oil finish brings out the natural characteristics of the wood, ensuring good surface protection. Every 6-8 months, the oil is absorbed and it is necessary to repeat the task with Alma Oil. This oiled parquet has a darker color than the one painted, but it has a more natural and textured feeling. We recommend a daily cleaning with vacuum cleaner or dry cloth, plus the use of Alma Soap every 2/4 weeks or whenever the floor needs to be washed. After laying, oiled floors need an immediate treatment with Oil Care Plus.
