STRUCTURE

Our 2-Layer structure is pure technology and our drying system allows us to obtain reduced thicknesses, wide but perfectly stable widths and lengths, suitable for any type of climate.

A - 1° Layer: Solid wood slat, stabilized by single seasoning and drying process. / B - Gluing with vinyl glue that guarantees zero emissions, elasticity and resistance. / C - 2° Layer: Support in birch/eucalyptus plywood for external use, which guarantees greater resistance over the years to thermal changes. / D - Tongue and groove: Tongue and groove joint, with length of 7 mm, which guarantees the possibility of glued or floating installation. / E - Bevel 4L: All our products are micro-beveled on 4 sides.

SURFACES

BRUSHED

Processing carried out on the noble part of the parquet to highlight the grain. A parquet with a natural and textured effect, perfect for rustic or modern spaces. Thanks to the action of special rotating brushes, the softer part of the wood is removed to obtain a rough surface, with evident veins.

PLANED

Processing carried out on the noble part of the parquet, aimed at highlighting the particular effect of the wide planing on the boards. Ideal on the DOGHE Collection. A parquet with a rustic, elegant and lived-in flavor with a hollowed out and irregular surface, capable of combining with a classic style, but also with the latest trends in modern design.

HISTORY

Processing aimed at enhancing knots and grouting. Calibrated surface and knots manually repaired with leveling grout.

BARRIQUE

Unpolished surface that enhances the natural peculiarities of the wood. Processing characterized by embossed knots, repaired with grout, in order to obtain an uneven and not planar surface. The Barrique surface gives life to an unforgettable parquet.

Processing that opens the pores of the wood, while maintaining an elegant effect that adapts well to modern spaces.

FINISHINGS

LACQUERED

Treatment carried out with the use of UV varnish, which makes the surface particularly resistant and easy to maintain. The varnish finish creates a protective film on the wood that lasts over time. A painted parquet does not require maintenance.

OILED

The oil finish brings out the natural characteristics of the wood, ensuring good surface protection. However, every 6-8 months the oil is completely absorbed and it is necessary to repeat the operation. This oiled parquet gets a darker color than the one painted, but it has a more natural and textured feeling.

TREATMENTS

Stain

White, gray, brown, naturalized wooden floors: Standard staining never goes out of style, they are timeless classic. From the most modern to the most classic spaces, they adapt to any space, making it sophisticated and welcoming. Staining is applied in the roller machine after brushing the planks. Then, a new and light brushing is applied to open the holes and favor the adhesion of the last paint finish.

Smoking

Smoking is a process interacting directly with the tannin of the wood: the boards naturally darken and the intrinsic characteristics of the material are enhanced. Depending on the quantity of tannin, we will get different shades. The various shades will therefore be more or less intense depending on the greater or lesser presence of tannin in each board.

Reagents

The finishes with Reagents are made with reaction procedures that interact directly with the tannin of the wood, enhancing the nature of the material. Consequently, the freshly processed material is different from the samples available in the customers' showrooms (already exhibited for several months). However, we can assure that in few months the maturation of the reaction process will lead to a variation of the hue.
